It had been a particularly depressing spring. I was working the late shift at a gas station counting dirty change from tweakers trying to get smokes. I didn't have any shows lined up and I was going crazy so I started writing and recording songs in my producer's garage. I figured no one was going to buy these recordings let alone listen to them so I stopped caring about how it was going to be received and recorded this album for myself and my sanity..
