The Blue Period or the Naked Sessions

In the summer of 2006 I started driving my neighbors crazy by recording tracks in my apartment. I had begun to color my songs with my banjo and accordion. I had been messing with both for years but it wasn't until that year that I really started using them. The result was a series of interesting recordings I dubbed the Naked Sessions simply because it was one hot summer and all I ever wore during those recordings were instruments..... Plenty of musicians still believe they need to spend the big bucks in a so called professional studio to get quality results. That maybe so for some people. I like taking my time with recording and in an environment where time equals money the result would be seriously strained and too straightforward for my tastes. As a result, I have done most of my better recordings in the comfort of my home studio. The results are far more interesting and exciting than I would have ever gotten out of a expensive studio.
